Hertz customers can enjoy discounts of up to 33% on car rental for international travel to 111 countries.

The Hertz global sale runs until January 31, 2012 for rentals picked up between January 3, 2012 through June 30, 2012.

The discounts vary by country and location, ranging from 20% (Americas and Asia Pacific) to up to 33% (in Europe and the Middle East). In order to get these special discounts, customers are required to quote ‘CDP: 754910’ while making reservations direct with Hertz.

Also, in addition to this global promotion, Hertz customers residing in Europe, Middle East and Africa can benefit from the same discounts in their home country.

American Airlines frequent-fliers have the opportunity to earn double elite qualifying miles for travel on all flights operated by American, American Eagle or AmericanConnection between Dec. 13, 2011 and Jan. 31, 2012.

AA says this offer enables customers to reach elite status in the AAdvantage program faster than usual.

AAdvantage members can qualify for elite status in the program by earning 25,000 elite qualifying miles for AAdvantage Gold status; 50,000 miles for AAdvantage Platinum status; and 100,000 miles for AAdvantage Executive Platinum status in a calendar year.

Customers must register for the promotion prior to travel at www.aa.com/offers using promotion code DEQAA.

The Hilton loyalty program, HHonors, launched Points Back, a promotion offering a 30% rebate on the points cost.

With Points Back offer you’ll get 30% of your points back when you use one of the two new redemption options, Premium Room Rewards and Points & Money Rewards (a combination of points and money to book a standard room).

Registration is required. To get points back in your account, just sign up and book by January 31, 2012, then complete your stay by June 30, 2012.

Marriott Rewards MegaMiles promotion is back for stays between January 1 and April 30, 2012. The promotion gives the opportunity to earn 2,000 bonus miles with every hotel stay, beginning with second stay.

Up to a total of 50,000 bonus miles may be earned — in 26 stays — during the promotion period.
That in addition to usual base miles regularly earned with every stay.
Registration is required and members must update their profile by choosing miles for their earning option.
