»»United Promotion: 30% Fewer Award Miles for Short-haul Flights
United Airlines has launched “short-haul” promotion to reduce the number of miles customers need to redeem when booking award tickets for flights within the continental U.S. or between the continental U.S. and Canada that are 700 miles or less.
In this United’s promotion, customers can book a one-way award ticket for 30% fewer award miles. A roundtrip award ticket is reduced to 17,500 miles and a one-way award ticket is reduced to 8,750 miles, from 25,000 miles and 12,500 respectively.
To take advantage of the promotion, customers must book by August 31,2010 and fly before January 7, 2011.
