UK’s Prime Minister Gordan Brown announced the British airports will install full-body scanners as soon as possible.
BAA, the main airport operator in UK, said it has ordered full-body scanners and would introduce them as soon as possible throughout the country.
In England, full-body scanners have already been tested at Heathrow and Manchester airports. In the US, 19 airports had already introduced full-body scanners.
