»»British Airways Extends Early Bag Drop at Gatwick Airport
With the winter schedule (beginning October 25, 2009) British Airways passengers flying from Gatwick Airport can take advantage of an extended early bag drop service.
British Airways enables travellers to check in hold luggage between 4pm and 10pm for all flights scheduled to depart the following day.
Previously customers were able to drop off their bags the day before their flight if their departure was scheduled before 3.15pm the next day.
Pasengers now, therefore, have the option to drop their bags at the appropriate Fast Bag Drop desk the day before their flight, check-on online and then go to the departure lounge when they return to the airport to catch their flight.
