»»Delta Air Lines Increases Domestic Airfares by $10 Round-trip

Delta — along with Northwest, increased domestic airfares late Thursday by $10 roundtrip.

If the major competitors will match the hike, this will be the third successful attempt to increase domestic airfares in the past six weeks.
That means legacy carriers will have increased their domestic fares by $20 to $25 since the summer’s start.

This hike does not include international airfare nor the late summer-fall airfare domestic sale initiated by Southwest earlier this week.
