Just a day after AP reported American Airlines is considering an “a la carte pricing structure”, also Frontier Airlines seems to plan a similar fare structure.
Frontier’s new fare structure would offer consumers different price levels for different types of services and amenities, such as seat assignments and frequent-flier miles — Rocky Mountain News reported.
In the airline industry, changing the fee structure seems to become a viable alternative to raising prices in the effort to offset rising fuel costs.
