»»Airport Waiving All Fees To keep Airlines

Stewart International Airport north of New York City is waiving all fees it charges airlines to use that airport for the next six months, USA Today reports.

After forecasts that suggest the airport by November will lose 63% of the passenger air service it had last November, Stewart’s owner, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, took this move in hopes of keeping airlines it still has.

That is only one of the many examples of how the recently massive flight cuts are heavily affecting airport revenues in the United States.
