»»Air Canada Introduces New Paperless Boarding System

Air Canada has launched a new system enabling fliers to use paperless boarding passes.

- How it works

Passengers who check-in using their cell phone through mobile.aircanada.com will be sent an SMS text message. Then they can show to airport security staff the message received, rather than using a traditional paper boarding pass.
Once logging on to mobile.aircanada.com, passengers are required to enter their name, departure city and one of the following: Aeroplan number, credit card number or booking reference.
