Delta Air Lines announced it will add a new non-stop service to Africa.
Beginning December 3, this new flight, Atlanta - Lagos (Nigeria), will be added to the other U.S. - Africa routes.

Delta Air Lines recently launched the routes New York - Accra and Atlanta - Johannesburg, so this new service confirms Delta’s expansion into Africa.
Schedule
Departure: from Atlanta International Airport at 4.25pm, arrival in Lagos at 9.25am the following day.
Return: Lagos at 11.25am, arrival in Atlanta at 6.20pm.

Beginning November 2, Air New Zealand will start a nonstop service from Vancouver (YVR) to Auckland (AKL). This will be a seasonal service running through March 28, 2008 and operated with 777-200ER. 14 hours is the time needed to cover this route.
